Pewter Gray
Moving a little darker, this Pewter Gray color is definitely hot right now. Other colors like Lilac Gray could also fit in this category. These colors look amazing in living rooms, dens and bedrooms.
Mustard Yellow
This insight is brought to us courtesy of Decor Aid in an article titled 10 Best Interior Paint Colors Trending for 2019. When we were looking at other people's insights, we stumbled on this article, and we were a little surprised to see mustard listed.
But as we started looking through Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr, and other blogs, we DID notice quite a few people decking their walls out with mustard yellow.
Apparently, Mustard Yellow is the big comeback color of 2019! It's listed under different names. Sherwin Williams calls this color "Nugget," but let's be honest... it's mustard yellow. In many photos, like the one used by Decor Aid, this rich Mustard color is used as an accent on one wall, rather than used on all four walls. That's probably the best way to use it - just like it's food namesake, a little mustard goes a long way!
Burgundy
What's funny is that Burgundy could just as easily be on a "Worst Color Trends of 2019" list. It's all in how you use it.
Much like Mustard Yellow, a little Burgundy goes a long way. Most of the posts we've seen uses Burgundy as an accent wall. One really popular color combination uses one Burgundy wall with three Hazelnut or Gray walls. Or, you can use a piece of burgundy wall decor or flowers as an accent in your room.
